By plane: Beijing has two airports, Beijing Daxing International Airport and Beijing Capital International Airport. Both airports have numerous international and domestic routes. You can fly to Beijing from countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, the United States, Australia, Canada, Japan, and Cambodia, and also from most cities in China, such as Hong Kong, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Xi'an, Guilin, Hangzhou, Kunming, Wuhan, Guiyang, and Chongqing. 2. By train: Beijing's rail transit is extremely developed. You can take high-speed trains to Beijing from cities such as Xi'an (about 4-5 hours), Shanghai (about 4.5-6 hours), Tianjin (about 30 minutes), and Harbin (about 5-5.5 hours).

Today, you and your family will have a full day to explore the ancient capital Beijing, visit world-famous landmarks, and experience its unique hutong culture. After breakfast, you will visit the world-renowned Tiananmen Square. 【Tiananmen Square】 is located on Beijing's central axis and is the largest city-center square in the world. It holds an important place in Chinese history and has witnessed countless major historical events. Here you can see the majestic Tiananmen Gate Tower and learn about China's long-standing culture. Then cross the square and visit the Beijing Palace Museum. 【The Forbidden City】, also known as the Purple Forbidden City, is located at the center of Beijing's central axis. It was the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties and is the world's largest and best-preserved wooden-structure palace complex of the Forbidden City. Here you can visit the important halls along the central axis one by one, admiring the splendid and exquisite ancient palace architecture while following your guide's explanations to learn more about the historical stories of the Forbidden City. Children will especially love a fun treasure hunt in the Forbidden City: looking for the family of mythical beasts standing guard in rows on the palace roof ridges—the majestic dragon, the gorgeous phoenix, and the mighty lion—and discovering the ancient meaning of "suppressing fire and preventing disaster" behind the large gilded bronze vats beside the important halls. First, you can take a leisurely rickshaw ride through Beijing's best-preserved Shichahai Historical and Cultural District. The rickshaw puller will take you through the crisscrossing hutongs, passing traditional siheyuan gateways, the picturesque Yinding Bridge, and the shimmering lake, allowing you to feel the rich humanistic charm where lake and mountain scenery blends perfectly with old Beijing life. Then, go deep into the hutong and visit a local family that has lived here for generations. Optional dinner - Peking duck experience If you want to add a delicious memory to this day, you can optionally enjoy a classic Peking duck dinner at a well-known local restaurant. This morning, you will visit the Temple of Heaven. 【The Temple of Heaven】, originally named the Temple of Heaven and Earth, was a place where ancient emperors worshipped heaven, prayed for good harvests, and prayed for rain. After visiting the Temple of Heaven, you will drive 73 kilometers (about 1.5-2 hours) to visit the Mutianyu Great Wall, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. 【Mutianyu Great Wall】 is one of the most beautiful and best-preserved sections of the Chinese Great Wall, and enjoys the reputation of being "the finest section of the Great Wall at Mutianyu." Recommended route: Take the cable car up - hike the east line - take the toboggan down Take the fully enclosed cable car easily up to the higher part of the Great Wall (around Watchtower No. 14), then begin your east-line hike. This section is relatively gentle, surrounded by pines and cypresses along the way, with the Great Wall winding like a giant dragon along the verdant ridges, offering extraordinarily magnificent scenery. You will hike past the iconic Zhengguan Pass (a rare pass formed by three connected watchtowers) and finally reach the majestic Dajiaolou, undoubtedly a superb spot for photos and for feeling the imposing grandeur of the Great Wall. Looking west from above, the view is open and the mountains and rivers are picturesque. You can both appreciate the grandeur of the Great Wall and conserve energy to the greatest extent.
